Shaun, I have only shot a few rounds but, it is not recommended in the Iver Johnson 1911's. I have also shot equally hot or slightly more so Underwood Heavy 10mm loads without issue. I did replace the recoil spring with a heavier lb Wolff unit. Cheers and stay safe!
