How does the recoil on this gun compare to a full size 1911 Government .45 acp? I have shot a couple aluminum frame Officer models and did not detect a significant difference in recoil with my 1911 Government.

S&W Performance has tuned this pistol's action for smoother operation with an action job •3.5-4 lb. trigger pull •Throated barrel •Precision crowned muzzle •Polished feed ramp •Briley spherical barrel bushing. The slide cutouts are more for weight savings.
