Jerome, The 9mm SHIELD EZ has an excellent, crisp, light trigger as well. Trigger pull is smooth with modest take up and breaks at a clean 5.0 pounds with a rapid and audible reset. Recoil is very light.

It will vary a little bit from gun to gun even amongst the same model typically trigger weight on this pistol is 4½-5½ pounds, appex makes trigger kits that you can install and make it lighter or heavier

Jerome, there are many reviews written on this gun, and the trigger pull varies from 4 1/4 to 5 lbs in the reviews.
