Emay, yes, the G4 is a later version G20. Other than that, Gen (Gen 3 comes with (2) magazines and Gen 4 comes with (3) magazines. Most manufacturers including Glock make firearm packages that have 10rd magazines so their pistols can also be sold in states that have magazine capacity restrictions. The pistols are exactly the same but just have 10rd mags included. The pistols will also accept any standard capacity magazines just fine.

The SF Version is a "Short Frame" designed for smaller hands. The Gen4 has Interchangeable back straps the Gen3 does not, the Gen4 also has an upgraded magazibe release and recoil spring.
