NO, the basic model 500 barrels will not fit on an 835 with the exception of the "Breacher" barrel. The difference is in the way the barrels connect to the mag tubes. The 500 barrels have a "Captive" barrel screw that threads into the end of the mag tube. The 835 uses a screw on mag tube "Cap" similar to a Remington 870 that screws onto the end of the mag tube

In short, The standard Mossberg 500 barrels will not fit the 835 because they have a different mag tube setup.
