Stanley, the Kimber Ultra Compact 11 45 has a brushed-polished carbon slide and aluminum frame. Some ideas from actual owners here : https://www.kimbertalk.com/threads/repairing-frame-scratch.5133/
I'd just get the whole thing Nitrided. Nitride actually is bonded into the metal so even if it scratches on the surface it still protects the metal, and the what scratches are there aren't very visible. https://chpws.com/product/black-nitride-for-your-pistol-slide-pistol-parts. ------------------------ That or get a polish kit https://www.amazon.com/Scratch-Pro-Scratches-Polishing-Stainless/dp/B005N01LGY/ref=asc_df_B005N01LGY/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=&hvpos=&hvnetw=o&hvrand=&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583863979569070&psc=1
