No, unfortunately the model number has to be the exact model tested and certified by the CA DOJ. This model number is for the version that comes wit 17rd magazines, it is is the same exact gun other then the magazines that come with it, but with how strict CA requirements are this gun would not be able to be shipped to CA even with the 17 rd magazines removed
