Patricia, this pistol comes in a hard plastic case with owners manual, warranty registration card (2) 15rd Magazines, cable lock, bore brush and Four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for optimal hand fit and trigger reach: S, M, ML, L. It also has a "Steel" Slide with new ArmorniteTM finish.
This Pistol does NOT come with a hard plastic case, it comes in a blue cardboard box, 2- 15rd steel oem magazines, 4 interchangeable backstraps (palmswells), a cable lock, and all of your standard paper work. It does NOT include a bore brush, the performance center models include a cleaning kit, this one does not. And because SW doesn't include a case I bought this one here (I bought the Medium, and it fits well) https://store.smith-wesson.com/shooting/bags-and-cases/handgun-cases/smith-wesson-defender-handgun-case/110018.html#start=1
I would also highly recommend that you get a C.O.R.E model (optics ready) because if later you decide you want ot run a reddot it will cost over $200 to get the slide milled, coated and, shipped back to you. With the optics ready versions it costs a little more up front but its ready to go out of the box for a reddot.
