This is pretty much the same story as the other one, there are very few restrictions on bolt action rifles in NY, this rifle is good to go if you remove the 15rd magazines. But all guns with a detachable magazine(rifles, shotguns, handguns, Aows) in NY are limited to 10rds, whether semi-auto, bolt-action, pump, etc.... This rifle has a detachable box magazine and is limited to 10rds. The only exception "✔ .22 LR caliber rifles of any action with tube-fed magazinesof any capacity are permitted. (i.e. semi-automatic, bolt, lever, pump, or slide - does not include fully-automatic" Full details here https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_york_restrictions.pdf

Chris, the only NY restriction is the 15rd Magazine. NY has a 10rd capacity limit. Buds will ship without the magazine and you could order 10rd magazines here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/93606/ruger%2bmag%2bbx-1%2b22%2blr%2b%2b10rd%2b3pack
Chris, that says .22LR with 'tubular' magazines, any capacity permitted. This gun has a detachable box magazine, therefore limited to 10 rounds.
