One of the reviews in the listing for this gun claims his came in a cardboard box. He wished it had come in hard case. Also from what I see online reviews it comes in cardboard box. Only guns with added accessories have hard case. But to be 100% sure I'd contact buds using the blue chat know button on bottom of screen during business hours. Hope this helps
