The VP9 does not have a "Manual safety" model, the P30 has a manual safy3ey model, the p30 is a hammer fired version of the vp9.And this trigger is not a double action it is a standard striker fired with take up to the wall then a brake with an average of 5 pounds, a short reset back to the wall and follow up shots at a shorter travel but same 5 pound break. The VP9 is the 1st pistol I ever bought and it has a fantastic trigger.

Luis, this model is a Striker Fired Pistol with no Manual Safety setup to mirror a smooth 5lb double action trigger pull. Though the VP9 is a striker-fired pistol, it's not necessarily a double-action-only pistol as when the slide articulates, it sets the striker spring. ... By definition, that's makes the VP9 a single action pistol! A result of this mechanism is that the trigger take up is free from resistance and quite silky. Cheers and stay safe!

VP9s do not have manual safeties. They have the trigger tab safety and a firing pin block only.
