Timothy, no, you can not put a 5.56 upper on a M&P 15-22 lower. The pins won't line up, and there is no buffer or buffer spring, or even a "buffer tube" for that matter... it is solid plastic.

NO it is not a standard AR lower it is specific to the 15-22

NO, unfortunately, this lower is specifically designed for 22lr, it will not work with other uppers.
