I want to provide "quick attach/release" functionality when using a suppressor. I imagine this includes some sort of barrel adapter. The subject 9mm pistol barrel has a 9/16x24 thread. Do certain mfrs provide adapters to mate with their suppressors, or will a generic/other brand adapter fill the bill? Can anyone recommend a specific brand/model suppressor and/or adapter? Thanks.

Gregory, a general /other brand adapter is usually the order of business Sir. Most suppressor vendors have these adapters as options with the xx to 1/2x28 being most common.
