Buds (and other gun stores) operate as drop shipper. They have warehouses (often time own by separate distributors) that send out orders for them. They basically get a commission for online sales. This is why Buds inventory in retail stores and online is very different. I hope this helps!

Buds keeps the retail and online sale/inventory separate

Brick and Mortor stores need to keep the lights on. And they have employees at the retail locations, they keep a separate inventory to keep customers coming in the door in the community they live and work in.
