Joseph, no Sir. It has a 14.5 inch barrel WITH PINNED AND WELDED A2 FLASH HIDER for 16 inch total barrel length. Cheers and stay safe!

sorry it a rifle as the flash hider is nonremovable to give it a 16 inch oal barrel length

It is a rifle, as the barrel CHROME LINED 14.5" BARREL WITH PINNED AND WELDED A2 FLASH HIDER. The pinned and welded muzzle device is considered part of the overall length, which keeps this classified as a rifle
