The rifle is a work of art. Weight to balance ratio is excellent. The action is smooth and function is flawless. Accuracy is top notch. Shooting this rifle is just about the most fun one can have. You will have no issues with any SAAMI Standard 357 Magnum or 38 Special +P or otherwise. This rifle is a basic very well built firearm and should give you years of trouble free service.

Mr. Thomas, I don't own one but with a design nearly 150 years old and at twice the price of a "standard" 357/38 lever gun, they better have all the kinks worked out!
