50 to 100 rounds? Not sure what a bolt looks like thats fired 50 to 100 rounds, I have a couple of bolt actions, my 30-30 (Westernfield) has over thousand rounds through it, and my 308 (Ruger) has a couple hundred, neither have any real visible wear on the bolt, or the surrounding area, and honestly neither are all that dirty either, bolt action you don't get a whole lot of blow back. If it didn't look good you shouldn't have accepted the transfer, and in your pretransfer inspection, id say checking the bolt is the 1st thing id look at. You should just clean it, lube, get it sighted in and enjoy it because it yours now, no one at buds was shooting your gun, and they didn't try to sell you a used one, or one that went out the door and came back (there are no returns on guns after the trhe transfer.)
