The PT-709 slim isn't as small as the LC9 and although slightly less money the ergonomics aren't as nice. Between the LC9, Shield, and PT709 I'll always choose the LC9. The LC9 is a great choice for people with small hands who are shorter in stature to someone with XL hands.
