What is the difference between the two Glock 48s currently listed other than this one being made in AUS vs the other one that is made in the USA? There is a significant price difference-this one is listed for $549 and the other one is listed for $458. I have read that the US Glocks are built to the same standards as the Austrian ones.

I'm not seeing any difference, but buds prices go by how many in stock. So two of the same pistols prices might vary significantly because one warehouse has more in stock than the other warehouse. Hope this helps.
