From everything I've read this is California legal but you may want to check with your local ffl dealer.
Yes it is CA LEGAL evne though its not on the CA DOJ approved list "✔ Single-action revolvers that have at least a 5 round capacity with a barrel length of at least 3 inches and an overall length of at least 7½ inches are permitted."
