William, in this case, there has been some slide and internal parts tuning for better function. So the cosmetic enhancements are accompanied with function enhancements. Anytime Browning puts the Medallion label on one of their products, you know to expect the very best, and that's certainly true of the Black Label Pro 1911. But don't let the beautiful fit and finish distract you from seeing the workhorse beneath, because this is one rugged and reliable firearm.
They are essentially the same Quality in terms of fit/function. Yes the finish of the one gun is prettier. I haven't found anything to definitively state internals are different between the two.
