Yes, this will easily remove just by unscrewing it. Sometimes manufacturers screw them on tight or add loctite so if you have any trouble unscrewing it, try applying heat. The easiest option to apply heat is to just shoot a few rounds threw the barrel. This has a 9/16×24 thread pitch. Hope this helps.
