Why does this gun have its model number end with an R? Every other website has it listed as "8529." When I google "8529R" like buds has it, google doesn't come up with any "8529R" results. Any ideas?

Mark, the 'R' was added by Bud's, I'm assuming it means 'Ruger. Could be because they have another item that is also 8529. The correct model is 8529. Have a great day!
