From what I'm reading the cimarron was more made for cowboy action loads. I really wouldn't recommend any high velocity rounds but standard pressure rounds should be fine. For a more detailed answer I'd contact cimarron at 877-749-4861 or email at, orders@cimarron-firearms.com. hope this helps.

James, no Sir. Cimarron has not changed their stance on firing Standard Pressure Ammunition through these. For safety and warranty reasons, I would not. Cheers and stay safe!
