Go to the California Department of Justice website, and there is an expanded list of every handgun approved for sale in California. Single Action revolvers and Single Shot pistols are not listed because they are exempt from the testing requirements and fall under a different exemption. The gun that you are looking for must exactly match the DOJ approved listing, which includes finish, barrel length, caliber, etc.. No variations.
