Savage makes high quality rifles for their budget models ( which are the only savages I've shot) this is o e of their more high end rifles so I'm sure it probably shoots pretty nice

I don't own this exact one but I own two savages, the Savage axis and the Savage 10 ba stealth, both are great guns. For the price you can't beat savage, incredibly accurate, comfortable to shoot and smooth cycling. Great guns, hope this helps

Charles, Savage rifles have a somewhat cult following for - out of the box accuracy - even in the so called budget models. I own several Savage Rifles in 22 Magnum, .17HMR, 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor and all are quality built and tack drivers. Cheers and stay safe!
