Zachary, they come on the side as pictured and cannot be moved. After reading many reviews, it seems they are not very strong magnets either, a big disappointment to quite a few people. Have a great day!

There's only magnet strips on one side and no they're attached and can't be removed, cause read reviews complaining they're only on one side. would be much more convenient if you could put them on either side. Sorry and hope this helps.
