while anything can be done by a good gunsmith. it is not a easy conversion and would be cost prohibitive just wait and get the B model or live with the decocker

I'm sure a gunsmith could for a decent price but personally I'd just get the model with a safety. Hope this helps.

Fred, it should be easy for a gunsmith. The only difference in the B and the BD is one has a safety pin holding in the sear cage and one has a de-cocker pin holding the cage. The B has 2 sear hooks and the BD has only one.
