I purchased a firearm with the 90 day layaway option. I made my initial payment 5 days ago and I have received emails stating it was accepted and the money is out of my account but it still says status "settling" when I go to try to make another payment. What does that mean? Does it just take more time to show up?

That can take a while for it to show paid at buds all of my E-checks have done the same. I have had it take 7-10 business days.  So I can better control when the gun gets shipped I normally pay the last payment by credit card (balance due +3%) which posts and ships the next day

Victoria, the funds clear you account much quicker when using E-Check or ACH bank Draft and takes 5 to 7 days to clear Buds account. I have never understood this as the transfer is "Electronic". Whatever system Buds uses, it's seems to run at the pace of "Snail Mail" when using Bank Draft or E-Check. Think of it this way in reverse, a vendor can take your money immediately and if their is an issue, it would take 3 to 5 business to refund you (using the same system at that). Wait just a little longer and it will post.
