Yes, this is compliant in CA due to the fact that it is a rimfire (22lr) and rimfire rifles are not subject to the same restrictions as centerfire rifles. -------- Copy and paste from buds CA compliance section. "Permitted: protrudes conspicuously benea ✔ All rimfire caliber rifles with a magazine capacity of 10 rounds or fewer (e.g.: .22LR, .17HMR, etc.) are permitted, excluding rifles with tubular magazines in lever-action firearms, which do not have magazine restrictions. Rimfire caliber riflesare not considered "assault weapons" and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot." Full info here https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
Also just looked on SWs website and they list it as CA compliant as well. https://www.smith-wesson.com/product/mp-15-22
Yes as a 22lr (rimfire) rifle it is CA legal https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
Yes, this is California compliant/legal. 22s don't have the same strict laws like bigger center fire cartridges. Hope this helps.
Jimmy, yes Sir. This rimfire is good to go in CA. Cheers and stay safe!
