Instructions should be included but if not it's very simple to replace. There will be a little tab in the bottom middle of the floor plate, just press that in as you start to slide the plate off. Just be careful once the plate comes off there's a spring that will fly out, so put your hand over it. Then just push down on the spring and slide the new one on. Hopefully explained this well enough and hope it helps.

Michael, it takes me about 20 seconds to change out the floor plate. No worries on you being able to do it. Just press the indent button, slide the original base plat off while holding the spring in place - slide the grip extension on and you are done. Cheers and stay safe!
