William, this is the Standard model and the slide is not machined for optics. The Optic Ready with red dot pictured models are listed here (unfortunately this color option is not currently available) : https://www.budsgunshop.com/search.php/sort/relevance/q/Sccy/page/1

This model is not optics ready. So you would need a different slide that is, or you could get this slide milled. Hope this helps.
