Not unusual for a pistol to rattle if shaken put pressure on various parts and shake to see if you can identify what is moving. Slide open or in battery? try a different Mag or mag empty. If it shoots good I would not worry to much about but would try to figure out where the noise is
Hung see if it rattles with an unloaded magazine or no magazine. This will tell you where the rattle is coming from. If it does not, try carefully loading a magazine and shake it out of the pistol to see if the rounds rattle. Sometimes rounds can be loose near the top of the magazine and rattle around. If not, insert in pistol - if it rattles then it's the magazine - try downloading by 1 round and repeat.
Sounds like the magazine went "salt shaker" on you. Shake the magazine and see if it is what is rattling and if it is you need to learn how to properly load it. Get an Uplula loader and as you load the mag push down and let up on the stack of cartridges ever 3rd or fourth round and they will nest properly and not rattle.
The loaded pistol should not have any loose parts that make a clicking noise. Send or take it back to the dealer for examination and repair.
