Since this is a 3 inch chamber it can safely handle 2-3/4 inch shells. Most if not all 3inch chambered shotguns even semi automatics can handle 2-3/4 inch shells. Hope this helps.

as a 3 inch chambered gun you can shoot all 12 ga shells 3 inches or shorter soi you can shoot the 1 3/4 inch mini shells the 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells

josh T all 3 inch guns can shoot any 12 ga shells shorter that 3 inches however semi auto may not function (cycle) and pumps may not feed the shorter shells (1 3/4 mini shells)

Randy, yea I always recommend to use higher velocity, or at least not low velocity 2-3/4 inch shells for 3inch chambered semi automatic. Didn't know about the 1-3/4 inch mini shells not functioning correctly in pump actions though, so thanks for the heads up.
