I don't own one but my best guess would be that's a screw or pin to hold the grip on. Hope this helps.

at the bottom corner there is a hole where the pin that holds the grip on is. You push the pin out slide the grip off then put new grip on and then drive the pin back in. i switched mine to a hogue grip
