Yes, this will fit a standard 1913 Picatinny or 5/8" Weaver Rail.

it will fit just fine but you may need a riser to get it aligned with you eye especially if you are going to co-witness it with fixed sights

No, mounting is by a 5/8" Weaver style rail.
