No this doesn't have a magazine safety, the trigger can be pressed with the magazine removed. Doesn't look like this takes Beretta magazines, but the Fatih B380 is a licensed clone of the Beretta 84, it even accepts magazines from the FN "BP" model inspired by the Cheetah-copied from Google. So it won't take Beretta magazines but will take fn bp magazine's Wich is another Beretta clone. Hope this helps.
