Your correct l, this barrel is not threaded, and the pistol is NY compliant.

sorry I cant find any where that says if the barrel is threaded however the beretta page shows it with a fake suppressor/shroud https://www.beretta.com/en-us/m9-22lr/ so I suggest that you ask beretta to be sure 1-800-BERETTA.
