This Optic must be removed, to change the battery, and zero must be confirmed after reinstall. Its really kind of crumby design compared to what Holosuns been doing
The battery is located on the bottom of the red dot. After installed you will have to remove the red dot to install a new battery but a good brand battery will last a pretty long time unless you accidentally leave it on when you put it away. Normally with a decent amount of use your probably talking every couple of years for changing it out. Hope this helps.
