It appears to be MD legal however I suggest you check with your local FFL as he will be the one putting his license on the line to do the transfer and should have the most up to date rules

Nathaniel, yes, this is classified as a non-Class 3/NFA "firearm." The VRF14 has a 14" barrel and an overall length just over 26."
