Does this model use a barrel nut? The photo looks like it does, but I have seen various reviews of the B14 BMP that show photo's with and without a barrel not. So I am wondering if Bergara went to a barrel nut at some point or the reverse and stopped using them at some point. I just ordered this rifle and curious what it will come with.

William, it will have the barrel nut Sir. The BMP rifles come standard with threaded muzzles (5/8x24), a thread protector and an exposed barrel nut for fast efficient barrel changes.

This is from a forum that was asking the same question and an the answer straight from the company: "The original BMP's did have a barrel nut however in March we decided to stop using a nut because of multiple reasons. We decided then to offer customers a discount on rebarrel jobs at our facility in Georgia. Contact our C/S for details."
