From what I hear the Maverick 88 is a very close clone to the Mossberg and that some parts are interchangeable and apparently this is one of them. Hope this helps

Literally every aftermarket parts maker that makes parts for mossberg 500 list their parts as maverick 88 compatible, magpul hogue etc. Some forends may require replacement of action bars (slide tube) with 7 ¾" "metal tube" type
