Yes Glocks are overrated. There internal parts are mainly made od plastic and they are notorious for jams. There are other brands that are just as good or better. Sigs are good, Taurus are good, rock Island are good, Remington is good, rugers are good, but if you want a good gun that is better than a glock and is very dependable I recommend a smith and wesson M&P. M&P stands for military and police and that's why most police forces are using them. The military also uses them. Hope this helps.
