This is a first gen. For gen 2 they upgraded good bit like the grip, the safety, the takedown lever, looks like an upgraded trigger and probably couple other things I'm missing. My local shop sells quite a few of these and I've been tempted to buy one awhile now. Never shot one but have felt one and feels like decent quality and all around good gun for the price. Not sure about the Philippine crest though. Personally looks like minor upgrades to change the looks so o personally wouldn't worry to much if it's first or second gen but that's me. I actually prefer the look of first gen. Hope this helps.
