Does this shotgun operate by means of Gas or Inertia blowback? I will be running low brass bird shot, and need to know if it will function just as well with light loads, and the heavier 3" buckshot loads. Thank you.

Ashley, it is gas operated. It comes with a light load piston installed, but also includes a heavy load piston, as seen in this video at about 00:47. >>> youtube.com/watch?v=U2mnBbWUmPw .....You should be good with birdshot or buckshot. Have a great day!
