Few upgrades from the g2 to g3. Like it comes with 3 magazines , upgraded metal sights and are compatible with Glock sights, upgraded/more safety mechanisms, upgraded trigger, and it's more reliable, probably couple other things I'm forgetting but that's the biggest upgrades. I'd say it's definitely worth the upgrade. Hope this helps.
