I own an RIA semi auto 12 ga already with a 28" barrel , and I wanted some versatility so they're affordable enough that it makes sense to just get another gun rather than parts.
The question: This X4 has a compensator on the muzzle and it comes with choke tubes as well. So is the choke located behind the compensator and is the compensator permanently fastened to the barrel or is it threaded?

John, the barrel is threaded for the included  Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full Chokes Set. The Comp is also threaded and adds no constriction to the barrel.

The compensator is threaded, you'll need to unscrew it to run any of the included chokes.

the comp is a EXTENDED choke and will get replace by the standard chokes
