Again, I wasn't sure if this type of gun was Ny compliant. It says it's a bolt action. So I think it should be fine. Let me know. Also let me know if there are other good .22 LR's I can look into buying for plinking around. Thanks.

Since it is bolt action, magazine capacity is the primary restriction and this has a capacity of 10 which is fine.

Yes, this is new York compliant/legal. Bolt actions in any caliber are legal, just have to make sure it's 10 rounds or less. Tube fed 22lrs bolt action, semi automatic, lever doesn't matter as long as it's tube fed round capacity isn't restricted. So you could get a tube fed Marlin 60 with 15 rounds and it's legal because it's tube fed. Out of all of my 22lrs my favorite plinkers are my Marlin 60sb, and my Rossi Rio bravo, both great very fun rifles and both legal in NY. Hope this helps.

Yes this ones good to go in NY, S far as other good 22lr plinkers, I still live the gold standard of a ruger 10/22
