John, This is the lower receiver of the rifle. Bump stock is an after market part that goes on the buffer tube. Bump stocks are probably not the best investment these days.

No this is not a bump stock this is a lower receiver the bump stock is a sliding stock where recoil causes your finger to activate the trigger (ie you push forward on rifle recoil moved gun back resetting trigger your foward pushing cause finger to pull trigger)

I've fired a bump stock and my opinion is that you can't hit a barn with it, you gotta let it bounce as you shoot it with a loose grip. Not only do they offer zero accuracy, its a tremendous waste of ammo. If you want to fire one and not waste the $$, go rent a full auto at your local range. These things were good for fish in a barrel, and if that's your target, you are a madman who doesn't need it. This is just my opinion. But when the NRA agrees with it, its gotta carry some weight, right...
