Yes, this will work just fine on your delton. I put this on my first AR to replace the plastic one and didn't really care for it. It was heavy and the rails on each side were uncomfortable to hold. I quickly upgraded to a 15 inch utg super slim free float handguard and very glad I did. This will work and looks much better than the standard plastic one in my opinion just warning you'll eventually probably upgrade to a free float handguard. Hope this helps.
